That is still an intermediate tablet/mobile version, rather than the actual full desktop or mobile version.

Just in your case rather than making you scroll to see the whole page, Safari has scaled/zoomed it out for you, hence looking somewhat similar to the full desktop version.

That's what mines is like too. Can cope with that but not being able to quote or edit is a nuisance.

On a 8" tablet I get:

Anyone any idea why it's been fine since the new format arrived until just this week though? And is this the way it's going to be or will the mobile (adjusted) version be reinstated?

The same on Windows 10 for me. The only resolve to the matter was switching to the forums new masthead fixed width layout.
