diverting calls....

we are about to set up a small buisiness and was wondering if i would be charged by bt if i was to divert all landline calls to my mobile if i am not home. i was told by a friend that you can buy phones which do it for you but will i be charged, im prepared to swap telephone line suppliers for a better deal, thanks for any help............

Any service is going to charge you money for diverting landline calls to mobile, as there is a cost involved.

IMHO you can't buy "phones" which do it for you; it's a service provided by the line operator.

The Burnside stuff all looks a bit doubtful to me.

For one thing, you need an extra mobile contract for the Burnside device.

And for another thing, what are these contracts which allow unlimited calls to other users on the same network? It's a new one on me.
