OP, can't you speak to Hermes directly? they might have a different story to what Zara have said Hermes have said.

Hermes need to prove it was delivered to xxx address whether it was yours or a neighbour.

they cant just 'provide a signature' and think that's it. that would give couriers a license to steal everything.
  • Not the OP, but just to give my two cents since my situation is the same - I contacted Hermes & they said they're not authorized to give information (which is pretty ridiculous, imho) & customers need to contact the retailer directly...

Zara parcels can only be delivered to the buyers address (not a neighboor) and it must be signed by someone in the household

I am having problems with hermes also. I tracked my parcel online and it said it was delivered and signed for by me. I was in at the time and they deffo never delivered it to my house. I have contacted bhs who sent the parcel and they said the courier had delivered it to the wrong house 10 doors up and said that I had to go collect it this is a week after it was delivered to the wrong house. Me and the said house owner do not get on so I have said its the couriers job to retrieve my parcel and deliver to the correct address not me. I am awaiting for another reply. I wish I had used paypal as I would have got my money back.

I must be the luckiest person in the country- my Hermes courier is a lovely young man called Daniel - who without fail delivers to me between 10 am and 11.30 am ( depending on how busy he is) whenever I have a parcel.

He has now told us he is leaving and I am getting worried about who will take over - I don't suppose I could be lucky enough to get another Daniel !

You know full well this is not true.

if it was even partly true they wouldn't allow workplace deliveries.

are you disabled or something? why can't you go up the road and get it from the neighbour?

although I'm amazed the courier tried so far up. he must've been fired by now.
