Littlewoods Garden Room

Options
Hello all.
Looking for a cheap way to add a little space onto our house, has anyone seen something like this before?

Would it be an enclosed bolt on?

I remember an Aunt having one but being 3 at the time I can't really recall the details.

It's really a lean to greenhouse. It'll be devilishly cold in the winter, if you were hoping to use it all year round, or cost a bomb to heat.

If you're adept at DIY, you could check out freecycle or the adtrader for a 2nd hand conservatory.
I ave a dodgy H, so sometimes I will sound dead common, on occasion dead stupid and rarely, pig ignorant. Sometimes I may be these things, but I will always blame it on my dodgy H.

Sorry, I'm a bit of a grumble weed today, no offence intended ... well it might be, but I'll be sorry.

Just after somewhere to sit when it's warm and a bit of extra storage. Had been thinking about a conservatory but we have no rear access to the back of the house so it would be a !!!!!! to do.

I wouldn't use it for storage. My parents have a single glazed conservatory and it's hopeless in the winter. As soon as you open the back door into it, the warm air hits the roof and condensation forms. They've had problems with damp, such as chair cushions with mildew on and they did have carpet in it which was ruined.

In the winter they have to keep the conservatory door open to stop the condensation, but then it ends up absolutely freezing out there, so you can't sit in it.

They bitterly regret not getting a double glazed conservatory as they would get more use out of it.
Here I go again on my own....

    Hi Huddsta,

I was looking at one of these earlier in the year. The same one, but from Argos @ £199.79 (so a bit cheaper too, although I haven't checked quidco for littlewoods). It is called garden room 8, cataloge number 705/2219 (sorry, I don't know how to do links), but if you put the cat number in the search, it should come up.

Thanks for the replies. Nutty Tart - Thanks for that, much appreciated however that one is a 1000mm shorter. With discounts I reckon I can get it from Littlewoods for about £220, the same size one is £299 in Argos.

Can anyone tell me what kind of base this would need? Would it be a case of bolted to the ground and wall? That's the problem with buying from a catalogue, no supporting info...
