Problems accessing O2 webmail

Can anyone help, please?
I have been trying to access a webmail account I have on O2, and keep getting a message saying that "Safari cannot establish a secure connection" to O2.
It worked fine yesterday, today nothing. I have cleared cookies and history, reset Safari, switched my laptop and broadband off completely and left it for over an hour before switching on again, but still get the same problem.
I can't get through to telephone help on O2, so just wondering if anyone has been having similar problems.

Try a different web browser?
Not sure how I'd do that, or even if it's the problem. Safari is the installed browser, I did look at Chrome a while back, but it needs more capacity than my laptop has.“Tomorrow is another day for decluttering.”Decluttering 2023 🏅🏅🏅🏅⭐️⭐️

Well it just seems like the obvious first step in troubleshooting the problem. If you phone O2 I can almost guarantee they will blame the browser based on the error message you are getting.
If you can try using Chrome, Firefox or some other alternative perhaps on a different PC or on a smartphone, at least you will be able to narrow down whether the problem lies with O2 or with the browser (or possibly your computer).0 -
Thank you. I looked up Firefox, and to install that (like installing Chrome) I'll have to upgrade the version of OS I have installed as it needs OS X 10.6 minimum.
If it is the browser it'll be a real pain, as I'll have to replace my laptop because it's too "small" for the versions of OS which support the more recent browser, and probably printer too.
It'll have to wait till I go to the library (hopefully tomorrow) as this laptop is the most up-to-date computer I have here (at 7 years old it's newer than my very unsmart mobile phone).
Anyway, thank you for your suggestions.“Tomorrow is another day for decluttering.”Decluttering 2023 🏅🏅🏅🏅⭐️⭐️

Have you checked Safari security settings have HTTPS enabled? Reads like settings rather than browser may be your issue.0
