I have a confession I have gone to JL without the rest of the south west coven. :o

Thank you JL for a much more relaxing experience than sitting in car dealers while waiting to have my spare key coded. :T

    My last voucher though. :(

Well I'm impressed it's all done in just over half hour and it had to have something done under bonnet recall to prevent rust. Wouldn't have even known if not had to get key from dealer.

Not even finished my hot chocolate. :rotfl:

I am impressed when Mr TS took DD1s car to a different dealer few years back for key they kept him waiting for ages and then appeared with a list of over £500 work that needed doing. He drives it now and still going ok......

Fingers crossed mine have just done as was asked. Laters

Tiny your solo visit to JL looks sooooo tasty :)

    Good morning Elite

No time to stop have to get dressed for my appointment with the doc. You know the one I went to yesterday :o. Wrong day :o

Some great meal deal shops amongst you guys :j. I don't want pizza and can't get ice cream into my one and only freezer :rotfl:

    See you all later X
There's no place like home :)

Feeling down? Weak in body? Makes no difference to me, I think of you all when I'm sitting quietly.

Hugs and healing thoughts are always going your way.

    Morning Everyone :)

Just wondered what everyone did with their old fat/oil? Saw this product in Lakeland:

    http://www.lakeland.co.uk/71003/Absorb-Bin%E2%84%A2-Large

and thought why would anyone spend £8.99 on that.

I use an old coffee jar, add to it each time and eventually throw it in the bin - probably two or three times a year.

I do the same - an old jar stands by my hob and I chuck it out when it is full.

I tend to use strong kitchen paper as soon as the pan or oven dish is cool enough. I don't use any solid fats, only a drop of olive oil if needed, and only buy one 750ml bottle of that a year so not very much gets used here. The most fat I have seen in years came from those free McCain roasts, they were literally swimming in it. Fat from roast meat gets skimmed and binned when I prepare the juices for gravy.

It is so annoying when these things happen Wendy but do you know what I would do, I would take their training with my head held high and then they write in their next report
Takes criticism well and Happy to respond to training offered.
At the end of the day you have done nothing wrong and so long as they don't want you to take this training in your own time I would go for it.
As you said it was not intentional the way you reacted and you apologised but if they train you how to deal with it next time you will handle is perfectly and no apology will be needed.
If you can try and turn this negative into a positive it will make you feel so much better and it will also go a long way towards p***ing off who ever is trying to target you.
Have a nice day and try not to let them spoil it. Five years is a long time try to rise above their pettiness.
Just came back after an early start babysitting and was moved by this lovely post, thank you so much it means a lot to have such cyber friends. This is true testament to the elite and their caring but practical posts......much love xxxx
  • Hi
If my maths are right would the following work out at £1.54 per frozen meal deal?
    1 x fish
2 x classic garden mix veg
    1 x carte d'or
    + unbranded fillers
