Good morning all
hope everyone has a great day and thanks for the meal deal glitch its fab and finally feel lucky to have SEVEN freezers (although two are those silly small things)lol.
I am trying to be positive and compared to many I have no worries but yesterday at work I had a horrible experience and need to vent a bit ...sorry.
A couple of months ago my new manager accused me of something that turned out to be a complete lie which was fueled by a troublmaker but had me in floods of tears.
It all blew over and she apologised but yesterday I had my year end review and it has all been documented at length by a senior manager as if it was true.
I asked for it to be removed as it was untrue but only got the wording toned down as he said it was an event that needs further exploration as I reacted badly.
I even had a comment added by this person that I had sent something in capitals even though I apologised at the time as it was not intentional but would have take ages to correct and was only a private note to this despot.
Don't want to rock the boat but really feel I.m being targeted, to the point where they are saying they will have to coach me on how to talk to my peers !!!
I have worked for the company for over fifteen years and never had any upsets or complaints and get on well with all my workmates.
I feel I also have mild autism (like many) that makes me a bit direct at times but nobody has ever taken offence and I am friendly with quite a few outside of work.
I ned to stay for another five years as my pension will pay out then and just wanted to vent, sorry .....much love W xxxxxxx

It is so annoying when these things happen Wendy but do you know what I would do, I would take their training with my head held high and then they write in their next report
Takes criticism well and Happy to respond to training offered.
At the end of the day you have done nothing wrong and so long as they don't want you to take this training in your own time I would go for it.
As you said it was not intentional the way you reacted and you apologised but if they train you how to deal with it next time you will handle is perfectly and no apology will be needed.
If you can try and turn this negative into a positive it will make you feel so much better and it will also go a long way towards p***ing off who ever is trying to target you.
Have a nice day and try not to let them spoil it. Five years is a long time try to rise above their pettiness.

Ps/ Wendy I am in total awe of your seven freezers unfortunately DH has just gone to work so I can't tell him that would send him into a panic!
I've just do e two pizza shops for the weekend for when my new freezer arrives and I've just had a great idea because you know what freezers in garages are perfect for..........
