Glad your doing so well from the Tesco Meal Deal, but just a cautionary note about overfilling freezers.
My Mum's 6 foot, 7 draw upright freezer broke down last week and lost all the food in it.
Repair man said problem was a ice blockage (even though frost free) because it had been overfilled.
Has been left to defrost for a few days, have just put it back on tonight and seemed to be chilling - time will tell.0 -
I have serious envy over the T pizza offer.
I am not working tomorrow and if it's still going I will shop later in the day
DS has an empty freezer  How can anyone have that :rotfl:
He seemed please with his crisps. I just love shopping this way wish I had found you years ago
I over bought dove cream when I first found you and am donating a big bag of glichey stuff to young cousin Does that count as decluttering
Good night see you in the morning0 -

Even though they are frost free they still need defrosting. The ice builds up in the back were you can't see.
I rotate mine and defrost regularly. When I get my new one on Friday I will do a circuit and defrost them all over a week.0 -

Quick bit of trivia.if you have a bad cold/flu/lurge..try rubbing vic on your toes then put socks on for the night and apparently you will feel the vapour throughtout your body...something to do with reflexology points on your feet...

You live and learn, I thought frost free meant you didn't have to defrost. Very expensive lesson.
I feel very guilty as it's me who overstuffed it, but will have fun filling it back up again.
Note to self - run down one of my own freezers so I can defrost all 4 :eek:0 -

Do you happen to know how long they take to process them? I know it's says up to 7 days, was just wondering if it's usual;y quicker or notTia
They usually approve claims within 24 hours (although i have had 1 receipt rejected about 3 times in 3 days for no good reason so i'll have to mail them and ask what the issue is)
They make payment runs every Thursday but you have to request that you be included each time
Tomorrow should be my first payout on each accountApparently, everybody knows that the bird is [strike]the word[/strike] a moorhen0 -

Haha to four freezers!! Yes keep rotating and defrofts them regularly. It is also cost effective to keep a freezer full. A fridge should have plenty of room for the air to circulate but not a freezer. If you have gaps fill them with bread or something cheap and bulky. I don't think many on here need to worry about gaps in our freezers :rotfl:0 -
