thanks cjj :) does it not matter what sides you pick? hope you are well :)

Lots of the sides (eg mushrooms, onion rings) are T own brand, so not eligible for the BG. Also, I don't think the peas are on offer in M.
The gain is being made against the special offers on brands in M, which are Carte D'or ice cream and the Birds Eye Classic garden veg mix.
The mains either don't compare, or are a very similar price in both stores, so don't affect the BG one way or another, apart from the chicken which is more expensive at M, so you lose out a bit on the glitch :)

Edit: at least, that is my understanding of it, I am not an expert by any stretch of the imagination :)

Glad so many of you have been able to get the T's meal deal. No freezer space here unfortunately. I think I must have the smallest freezer there is as I only have a fridge/freezer with 3 very small drawers and is filled mostly with bubbs' beef:)

As still compare own brand on APG, T BG and S BM do not (but do still count towards your 10 items).

on Tesco there is an offer of buy a 4 pack of Heinz and get a hovis loaf free. will this work like the meal deal? the beans 4 pack are £2.60 v £2.00 and the bread is 89p v 2 for £1.50 in morrisons.

if bought in 2's would this glitch? thanks x

Good question, don't know - possibly unless the bread shows as £0.00 on the comparison (but unlikely - that is likely to be processed as a discount at the end of the receipt?) - also depends on T BG picking up the M offer.
