hi bubbs  hope you've settled in nicely at the travelodge :)
OMG!! just been reading back a few pages on the glitch :eek: so am i right in thinking the fish & chicken work as well? & is it all flavours of ice cream? i might have to make room in my freezer by playing freezer jenga :rotfl::rotfl:

As mentioned above, the ice cream flavours I bought were: vanilla, vanilla light, cinammon biscuit, caramel and strawberry.
Here is a link to the ones which are on special offer at M, just realised the praline also overlaps with the T deal, not sure if already tested, I would have chosen that one if I'd realised :)

thanks cjj :) does it not matter what sides you pick? hope you are well :)

I'm good thank cheery, hope you are too. The sides which are comparing best in our favour are the garden mix veg. Others are not as good return but depends what people can use. Hth xx

thanks buyitall :) did they not have praline for you to try too? :)

Cross-posted - I definitely would have tried the praline if I'd realised it was in the M offer. Can't possibly fit any more in the freezers, still have to get the veg in yet ...

Thanks Nearlysorted for the meal deal information:T:T

Unfortunately it didn't quite go without incident:o:o

Having arrived safely and with trolley in hands...off I went..heart pumping to the freezer sections....There it was...The Meal Deal...right in front of me....:j:j ..I thought to myself "Yes some left..just for me"

In I dived....and into the trolley they went..... Pizza, ice cream and veg...A feast was to be had:) 4 deals

with my fillers and a few extra bits ..totalling 8 items on top of the deal items, I toddle to the SS checkout.. passing each item over the scanner....up went the cost until it reached its total..£44:36:eek::eek::eek::eek::eek:...... I knew once I added the bag bit it would drop.....finger poised with excitement I tapped the screen......:eek:£30:98....OMG what was I to do....I Paid...With tail between my legs and empty pockets.... I left the store and packed my bags into the car...There I sat...what have I done...where did it all go wrong.....:o..I had to investigate further....Back I went and there it was in front of me....MY mistake...Instead of Classic garden mixed veg...I had chosen the Sunshine Mix....:o...How stupid could I have been...However, in my defence these two veg were in the same section and apart from the picture of the veg..the bags looked the same..The meal deal SEL was there as clear as day.....Also, the SEL for the sunshine mix...2 for £3......I had saved £3:12 on them....BG £10:26 My saving totalled £13:38......Back to the car....my brain was a mess trying to fathom out what should I do......:(:(

Decision made:)....Trolley..Unpack the car and off to CS....There was only one man there...My embarrassment hidden as best as I could..I explained my predicament...This totally flummoxed the poor chap.....He didn't know what to do....He decided a check for himself....I showed him......I also pointed out how stupid it was to put both types of veg in the same compartment...my courage was returning....

He checked stock as there were not enough of the classic veg mix...:)..There wasn't..OOS:mad:..Then I saw a sparkle in his eye...What was it to be....His lips moved, "I'll let you have the Sunshine Mix on the same deal" :D:j:D ....Result....

Now it was a case of sums.....A return to the CS....Now there was a queue building up:rotfl::rotfl: at least 7.....The CSA looked flustered and busily tapped away on his screen making amazing calculations...A refund was to be had...:D ..It was a case of how much...My ears had grown by quite some size in anticipation of him telling me.....

My word it was a refund far in excess of what I imagined...:eek::eek:£23.12 .My bill had now shrunk drastically.. It now stood at £7:86 :j:j:j Remove my fillers cost and bits...£6:62

A happy ending story :rotfl::rotfl: If a little bit embarassing...Yet another lesson learned for the Marmite:rotfl::rotfl:

:T oh how loved reading your story, you certainly have a way with words, I was almost there with you diving in the freezer and feeling embarrassed at cs...but pleased that your story had a very happy ending:rotfl::rotfl:
