Bit of a carp shop really!
Win some loose some as always;)
On wards and upwards to the next...
I will have to do so much better next time to get my money back;)
It's not a matter of "winning" or "losing" with TBG. You should never pay more. So that you can check out completely with confidence.
I'd not be happy - I'd complain. Especially as you have paid more twice. Even if they say the prices aren't updated and don't price match on the day, you've still paid more compared to what shopping in M today (ignoring the T dairy coupon) would have been. Either they should make clear "you'll never pay more unless the prices for Morrisons aren't updated", in which case it isn't true that "you'll never pay more" (because, in the circumstance of M's prices not being updated on T's system yet, you will do), or they should stop claiming that people won't pay more. If it's so incorrect, really, then they should not be claiming to people that they won't pay more than Morrisons. In Great Britain.
"Invariably" suggests more often than not - in which case really we ought to be doing more Tvs M shops and complaining every time it does not match M prices. Complain every time to T, both at the store and HQ, to Trading Standards (via Citizens Advice Consumer Service) and the Advertising Standards Authority on every occasion that you shop and don't end up not paying more - contact all four of them every time, until all of them get sick of hearing of your complaints - until T either ensure their system ensures that you don't pay more or they stop claiming that that will be the case when it isn't. Especially as, in my view, they compound it by claiming you can have confidence when you check out.
In the case of the ASA, each time refer them to T's website or any other advertising where they are claiming you'll never [my emphasis] pay more.0 -

Sadly... but as I am not used to having time off from working I ended up ill whilst off.
I felt sick driving to work today......I wonder if Tesco's are hiring!
Are you back at the grindstone?100 -

I never feel I have the time to complain savvy.....it's the opportunity cost isn't it......what could I be doing with my time if I wasn't complaining....something more productive probably.
I think it's more about perception too rather than reality.....I just prefer to steer clear of v M shops as I have been unlucky with them in the past.:oTo do is to be. Rousseau

I think it's something an obsessed Asperger's person might do. What could I be doing with my time if I wasn't collecting M prices?:rotfl:
Mind you, what could all of us be doing if neither of us spent time posting on here? Even in the form of 'conversation' as now. As regards your last point, I know, I don't like to do things if I feel they are risky too.
I suppose, if we did complain each time, we would, after the first time, develop a pro-forma complaint which we could just copy and paste (amend with a few details) each time. Same complaint, repeatedly, until they get sick! It may be worthwhile complaining to T if you get a £5 moneycard each time. After all, the inconvenience of having to make the complaint is also something that you shouldn't have to be put through.
It's the only way things will ever improve - if ever - at all though. If we just shrug off shop and overpay, more people will end up overpaying, including, perhaps importantly (but then I am being altruistic and people really are not that) ordinary customers who don't use this thread, but just shop the way most people do and, where M really is cheaper, are, potentially, being misled by T saying they won't be paying more and compounded by saying they can checkout with confidence, and continually overpaying.0 -

I only go to one posh frock do a year and I'm now rotating my stock:cool:..after a few years I'm sure no one remembers whether you have worn something previously.
Anyway...the last one we went to I felt like a fish out of water. It was black tie and most of the women were wearing short......To do is to be. Rousseau
