    I think I will have to be very careful with the Aprroved Foods quantities

    £1.99 for cooking salt

    12.5 kg:eek::rotfl:

    They sent me 5 bags of unidentified salt once by mistake, refunded me what I was due and let me keep it. Still working our way through. :rotfl:

    Don't forget to order this sale item 6 for £1 ;)

    Sad, I know, but just read through the APG t&cs again and notice the following - not aware we knew this about M prices ...?

    14.2 M prices are updated once weekly (on Thursday) using in-store shelf prices which are collected in a representative sample of stores across Great Britain each week.

    Not sure if there are other changes in there?

    Anon

    No, I didn't know that as I don't check the T&Cs every single day to see if anything has changed. It doesn't say when the prices are collected. Wish I'd known as I've done a price collection today - there is a lot of change in M today - probably the second-most amount of change I've had - but nothing out of the ordinary. I knew there had been some changes last week, after the price collection day had already passed, but rather there wasn't that much today to change before I go again on Wednesday. Even though we now don't, apparently, get updated until "Thursday", I'll put what I've got on today to get a head-start for much of Wednesday. I think I'll then go only on Wednesday each week, unless we notice anything mismatching happening:cool:.

    Either they are winding things down or they are just, presumably, trying to reduce costs by only having a collection once a week. I am sure A will still want to know what M's prices are!

    So, once I alter it again, bold items on the list for Avs M will not work until Thursday (unless there are further changes on Wednesday in M) - crossed out items may continue to work until Thursday. Some of the old offers may continue to work. This may be a good thing as I was going to say Maris Piper Potatoes 2.5kg have gone off - they've gone up anyway from 2 for £1 before Christmas to straight £1 last week and, now in M, £2. You should still have enough A White Potatoes from around Christmas though if you stocked up as much as you could. But, in the light of bagged potatoes prices going up in price everywhere, it may now be Maris Piper will work until whenever it changes on Thursday, although against M at £1 not 2 for £1, assuming that it was even picked up on the Wednesday price collection last week.

    There's lots of others - I think I have more time now to mention what's expired in M:rotfl:. But don't buy the 320g Apricots - I'm not happy about some items as there have been further effective price reductions in M, so they were wrong to put onto the list. Apricots are now 2 for £1.50. Palmolive Shaving Stick has gone down to 25p (will it go down even further?:think:) so delay that off buying until Thursday too - unless it goes back up in price in M on Wednesday, in which case you've missed it.

    I think TS has used them, I seem to recall her mentioning that a lot of things came in industrial sized quantities.

    Funny you should say that, still eating mayo from the industrial sized tubs I got in the summer. :o

    The girls don't like it so just me and Mr TS ploughing our way through and still on the first of the two tubs. He only mentioned today how we did not expect them to be sooo big when he made some egg sandwiches. :rotfl:

    just to say my Clintons store has added nice Birthday cards to the 3 for £2 Christmas card offer, worth a look if you are passing, cards are yet another of my weaknesses.

    Not happy about Persil Lemon WUL either as that's now 50p in M today. You have paid a lot more at T on this shop:(. I think this has not worked as the ICB spread has also only gone on offer in M at £1 today. You are expecting today's M prices but T's BG was still stuck on last week.
