Quick question. My father in law is terminally with Cancer and my mother in law is in a care home very ill with dementia. They have both signed a DNR and for the 2nd time the hospital lost my FIL'S when he was in last week. Apparently you are not allowed to make a copy so we are not sure if he needs to make another. Anyone any idea? My husband and bil have power of attorney that will become active in about 3 weeks but until then we are not sure what to do.

    Do you mean DNAR?
if so This happened to a one of my parents, the consultant at the hospital said that they would write another one out as it was on the notes that one was in place.
The next of kin should be able to ask for this to be re done.

in my case the hospital eventually found the original one.

I promise you all I will leave my toenails until last:rotfl:

    Oh Di...that bird story....the embarrassment:o
Unfortunately I have a problem with my photos at the moment.....honestly:rotfl:.
I was treated to an iPad Air for Christmas and in the process of moving everything over managed to wipe out my albums:eek:

All is not lost as they are also on the PC but I haven't had time to sort it all out yet.

Essentially I had watched a bird over a field for weeks and posted on here about it. Lots of people came up with ideas and I got myself very excited about it. I eventually posted a photograph which clearly showed a line from the bird to the ground. Even at that point I thought it was someone with a bird of prey taking it out for flying lessons:rotfl:

Can't remember who put me out of my misery by telling me it was a bird scarer.....could have been you izzy65 or WMC
