No, I really didn't notice any £3 pricing for Douwe Egberts (on Wednesday) - pricing of £1.50 something per 100g as I am starting to collect those prices once again (having had M at way better price than even SP on RTC coffee that is now gone months ago). Don't think I saw those ones on offer - I could be wrong as I do miss some products due to them still appearing to me to be too high - I know Nescafes on £2.xx/100g pricing got ruled out of the question (I look for £1.67/100g or below) - I do have some coffees but not the Douwe Egberts ones. (They tend to be on high shelving in my M, and I tend to look down:rotfl:. Sorry:o.) They might not have been £3 on Wednesday, but I could be wrong. Possibly went onto that offer on Thursday, looking at the date of the advertised expiry of the offer on msm. Nothing that happened on Thursday or afterwards will ever be picked up by the APG, unless it remains at that price on Monday and if it gets picked up then (or, otherwise, whenever it does).0

Mr TM goes away cycling for a week soon and I want to be prepared.
I'm just thinking about a weapon of choice to take to bed with me. :rotfl:
What are your thoughts on a dry powder fire extinguisher? I obviously don't want to blind anyone or ruin my carpets:o But would you consider it to be a useful deterrent?
Or do you think I would struggle with the pin trigger thing in the heat of the moment?
And then there's the issue of disguising it in the bedroom:o
Would a golf club be a more sensible idea?
Sorry just catching up , I think the easier thing you can do is put up some security lighting around your property, especially in the dark corners, then have a good alarm fitted, one that can be set at different zones, when my oh was working nights he had a panic button put in our bedroom, its in easy reach and can be pressed either by hand or if you are standing up you can kick it, it is very discreet, I have set it off a few times by accident and believe me, all hell was let loose, every alarm we have went off, we have quite a few in our house, our neighbours were not impressed, we also have reinforced doors and windows, which makes it a lot harder for someone to break in.
Knowing some basic self defence and your escape routes out of the house also helps0 -

Morning All!,
Last day of the holidays:(
Not the best start to the New Year...... DH spent New Years Day in A&E, as he thought he had had a heart attack in the night
Got the all clear about 4pm. Probably indigestion but will need to go for health check at GP!
Yesterday we had to take Rosie the doggie to the vets. She is prone to hot spots and needed antibiotics to clear a bad outbreak.
I hope it's not my turn today!
Very drawn to joining the decluttering thread, but as I have not got time to keep up with the Elite, I may be setting myself up to fail.
Putting the kettle on, then reading back. Have a great day! HE xIn a world where you can be anything, be kind. (Caroline Flack)
