Hope everyone is well.
Both my boys slept in till gone 8am this morning :j, I'm feeling as fresh as a daisy
Love this! I hate New Years anyway, paying an obscene amount to get in a club/pub, queuing 20 minutes for a drink, waiting half the night for a taxi then getting charged twice as much as usual. The expectation is always huge then the actual night feels like a let down.
No thank you!
Me and my beautiful bunch are going out for a game of bowling, a nice meal somewhere then home for quality family time (and probably more food) I'll dig out some fizz for me and the hubby then toast in the new year with him.
Perfect
Wholeheartedly agree with you except twice the amount for a cab? It's four times as much in London as Uber delightfully emailed me this morning
Hope you all have a goodun' whatever your shenanigans may be tonight
I am predictably working tonight but only until 10:30 so hoping to dash back from central to avoid the drunkards, then back to work tomorrow through to Monday :rotfl:'I solemnly swear that I am up to no good'0 -
Good morning everyone, hope you are all safe and well and that those who are celebrating have a really great time. We are spending a couple of days with some very dear friends one of whom has been going through the same journey as FC but thankfully was confirmed as being in remission the week before Christmas :T. It certainly puts things into perspective. I wish you all a very healthy and glitchy 2016 x0

That is true

For those that have received and spent them, legally, the contract has now been formed as the transaction has been completed, if I understand correctly, so they cannot retrospectively charge? Or as an online order could they claim a payment problem?
It will be interesting to see and nay friend on how many orders managed to slip through. They do know where people live though (assuming people used their real details on the account).

The only thing they could do would be remove points from an account that shouldn't have had them. In the same way if your bank put a thousand pounds into your account they could remove it. If you went out and spent it it would be an issue that needs addressing.
Given the nature of points as opposed to pounds, and the fact it was totally their error, chances are b00ts would not let your account drop below zero, but there is the risk that they could grab back points that weren't legitimate.
Chances are they won't do anything that would give bad publicity.I'm a Forum Ambassador on the housing, mortgages & student money saving boards. Morning folks and happy New Year's Eve
I managed to get some straw for the chooks from the shop that was closed yesterday so I didn't have to go trawling round bristol trying to find some. Put it in the run and the girls were so happy
Prosecco chilling in the greenhouse for tonight, but not sure whether I'll be drinking yet or not
