Wow! That's a insane amount. I have to say that I'm really really happy that some have managed to get such a awesome amount.
It's certainly looking lucrative for a few- wish I was one of them :o

Aww stinky....I really had my fingers crossed for you. I too have received the "goodwill points" so I think that's the end of my adventure.

And yes no rhyme or reason....but you are a true elite......thanks for sharing:T

I like "Pita", but because it makes me say the full phrase to myself here and because I love the final word to it. Really love the sounds of those words:D:rotfl::rotfl:. They are - why did they (the Victorians or whoever beforehand?) make the best sounding words, and the only ones that, as words, sound really nice, into "offensive" words? Just :( about people that keep me away from them. I think it's the "nice" harsh sound about some of them that I like. As well as the fact that some people irrationally think that words are "nasty". Obviously, it's not the sound of a word:eek:, it's meaning and what people are saying to you - or would be - but, anyway, that's my own take on things nowadays - perhaps in order to try to be a coping strategy for myself to some extent who knows? They do sound quite mild though compared to what they were thirty years ago.

Anyway, don't apologise folks as you'll probably compound the matter:rotfl::rotfl::rotfl:.

    I'm free :D

    Thank you for your encouragement

Pleased I've done it, as usual with their meanness & every fiddle going - they have done me over like a kipper regarding owed holiday pay & hours etc -why did I bother to try & get it?
It seems as my notice was till 29th Dec (which is my last normal working day) instead of the 31st Dec (which is not my working day) I have lost out on December pro rata holiday pay...... !!!!!! !!!

Ended up with 4 hours holiday pay when I was actually owed 1½ days...

Also it seems if I hadn't turned up today they would have been able not to have paid me the Christmas Bank Holidays. Bet they were gutted I came in :p:p:p

No thank you - so why am I bothered - it just cements what I already know

But people do take the P out of insurers. I was working in an insurance brokers once and I recall one form that said that the lamppost had leapt out in front of them and crashed into them, and that was on the claim form

    :eek: :rotfl::rotfl::rotfl:

I have had the points for the despatched one. then using the points I did 3 orders for home del and 1 I received today and the other 2 were cancelled. I have also had a goodwill of 500 points I dunno why?!?

I watched a programme not long ago about someone asking for advice from their insurance company, decided not to claim, but because they had seeked the advice the call was logged as a claim and their premium went up the following year, shocking really.

I've had insurance companies that want to know about notifications that wouldn't be taken into account by other insurance companies at all. They pulled a whole list that weren't even on record on the other company's but came from somewhere else. I don't notify anything at all nowadays - saves all the bother. If you go contacting people and messing with things, it'll just come back later to bite you on the [certain place]:D. (Lovely, fine old English word;).) Rhymes with farce;) - and it is a farce that I have to 'get around' it like that:rotfl::rotfl:.

That call shouldn't have been logged as a claim should it, it was clearly just seeking advice (and hardly even a notification perhaps? Or is there a mix-up that you're thinking it was advice when that has been correctly classed as notifying someone and some companies take that into account - it sometimes seems 'any excuse to put premiums up...').

Fwiw, however, if it has been recorded incorrectly as a claim and they have lost out financially because of that, then they could have a claim against the recording company under the Data Protection Act? See the Information Commissioner's website for information.

On another matter, I saw Mr A's bags today - and - I don't know if it's the same everywhere - it probably is - but they now have the butterfly bag at 28p and now.... it's very tiny indeed:(. Not liking that one at all - had to get another, and still not as big as the old bags, that now costs 70p:eek:.:(

Just popped on to say hello, hope everyone has had a good Christmas x

    Special hugs to Nanny xxxx

We have had a doggy house guest over Christmas, she is a regular visitor to our house and has stayed a number of times for a few nights. She was supposed to go on Boxing day... she is still here.

The dog has gone from being a timid anxious shaking bundle, to bullying our dog. She keeps barging into her, and won't allow her to have any hugs etc. Our dog has become rather timid.

When I kept shouting our dog, she eventually came for a hug - only to be barged at and growled at. OH told the visiting dog off, and she flipping well went for him - snapping his hand.

She is now in the dog house aka conservatory. I have never wanted a house guest to leave so much. I am going put our dog in the living room over night as I don't trust the other dog.

We have noticed our dog has a growth on her leg, so we need to go to the vets tomorrow.

In my absence I have been watching Game of Thrones...... I did not realise that I was a prude.... the language is appalling and it is so rude... totally unnecessary (I think I am turning into my mum!!)
