    Good morning:wave:

What a lovely morning. I've just washed all my new bedding and it's blowing in the sunshine outside:j

I'm decluttering the Christmas tree:eek: in other words I'm trying to find cupboard space for the new toys... Chocolates etc

Mhoc congratulations on your news, how lovely.
My wedding was done for around £5000 but this was a few years ago.
My tip would be do as much as you can yourselves. I made my own order of service for church, invitations, table decs, place cards and favours for the guests etc. Bought my own flowers and bows to decorate the Church the evening before from the local florist, nothing too fancy but brightened the aisle and entrance;) Mum made my bridesmaids dresses (as she was a very good dress maker) and all their shoes and tiaras came from bhs.
I also bought my cake from M&S as I'm not that good a baker:) I bought two fruit layers and a sponge one for the top. Then mum and I made little flower displays for the centre of each one. Much cheaper than purchasing an actual wedding cake.

I'm still a believer in saving as much as you can on the things you are good at yourselves and then spending the extra on things that really do matter like a very good photographer those get booked up very quickly. We still managed a sit down 3 course meal with drinks package for 40 and an evening buffet with disco for 90 at a local hotel with a little change;)
    Good luck;)

There's no place like home :)

Feeling down? Weak in body? Makes no difference to me, I think of you all when I'm sitting quietly.

Hugs and healing thoughts are always going your way.
