It does make you paranoid when others are speaking a language you don't understand :o at work most are polish but it don't bother me and I teach them English to improve job prospects :A

    You are an :A.
I do agree about the paranoia but kids speaking to their siblings in their own country should be able to speak their own language . If others dont understand learn some of the language of the country you are visiting dont exoect everyone to talk English for you.

Surely that's the first thing you learn?! I do any anyway. This book is brilliant for that. It even has phrases such as 'how much is the boy?' (apologies if the picture offends)

I have lots of polish people at my work. There English is excellent xx

In my experience it's mostly ex Russian that have the best education :) but when they talk about being in labour and not able to afford an epidural due to cost it makes you realise how good the NHS is:)
  • Looking at the news, I am so grateful it is just my freezer that is off. Northern areas are losing so much more :(

02 priority - is there any hint as to how I can download the app please. Phone is locked to Vodafone, not willing to try unlocking it. At least I assume it is locked. Might find out tomorrow.

When I try to download the app it refuses due to carrier.

Try switching off data and remov SIM and download via Wifi? You will need an unlocked phone only for the Ow2 sim to receive the activation text (doesn't have to be in the same phone).

    Hopefully this works.

    I use O2 Priority on a non O2 phone.

I put my O2 SIM in a basic old phone, then from the O2 app get it to verify by sending a text to the O2 SIM. Then use the code on the app.
