    When her kids where younger she made a scene as mine were talking Welsh together when hers where visiting and she said they should not talk Welsh infont of others and that they were only doing it to talk about them. my oh told her it was there first language and what comes natural to them and she had no right to tell them of for it. She also when we were out insulted everyone by asking a waiter if they taught you to count in Welsh schools as he made a mistake.
    Since then there is always a tension between them but we only see them once a year so i try to ignore it.
