Talking of sons, since ds3 got married and left home, he has spent alternative Christmas days here or with i laws. But, every Christmas Day he wasn't spending with us he would pop up with his wife to exchange gifts. Obviously when he was deserted he came to us for Christmas Day.

Yesterday he and his DGF were entertaining her father and brother but ds had said we will pop up and see you during the morning. . We didn't see hide nor hair of them :eek: I bet they got to bed late, slept in and had all the prepping to do. This will have been the very first time he's had to cook a Christmas Day lunch :rotfl::rotfl:

Hope you all had a lovely day yesterday and aren't suffering today from eating/drinking too much or a combination of the two.

It was absolute mayhem in my house.
But it was lovely to still see the magic of Christmas still alive in the eyes of the monkeys. We've been up over an hr and the TV hasn't been switched on yet which is truly unusual. Little mans playing with his talking Mac and little miss is deciding which bracelet she's going to create today with her kit.

Who's braving the sales today? Unusually I'm not...ive already ordered my Liz Earle from Mr shoes and a couple of other bits, spent an arm and a leg at next online for the monkeys so I'm having a no spend day. Plus we are out for lunch. Good luck to those off bargain hunting;) don't forget your armour and bags for life;)
