Oh Ellie I feel for you and your mum. Dementia is so soul destroying and does does become harder to cope with as the dementia progresses. My mum drifted into the twilight and to begin with things didn't change.

A few years later rolls were reversed, I was the mother and she the daughter. A visit to Felixstowe beach, stoney as it was brought squeals of girlish delight as the water rushed over the pebbles and washed over her feet. It's a day I'll never forget and a photo hangs on my wall in memory of that day.

Happy Christmas to everyone. I hope you all had a good day. I did everyone was happy and enjoyed themselves and they are carrying on festivities whilst I am 'resting'. It was unearthed during a recent de-clutter having being shuffled around for years due to me not wanting to pay £70/£80 for a refill :eek:

So when I opened one of my pressies and saw a Chanel gift bag this morning I obviously nearly wet my pants :rotfl::rotfl: So I opened it and it contained this



Ok wrong perfume but easy man mistake? (even though he says he fished the box out to order :huh: one is black and one is white....even if you can't read ) No worries I think, I'll just slot the No.5 into the Coco dispenser. WRONG! :eek: the No.5 has a bigger skoosher :eek: it didn't fit.
So when he went to make breakfast I popped the skoosher off the old 20 year old bottle and swapped it with the new one and it fitted and it works :j he has no idea he bought the wrong one.
He has never bought me something so nice unaided....ever! kind of made my day.

Not up to date with emails.....I will be tomorrow

Mums today then will just have time to make my dinner before :footie: kicks off . Wonder if it gets switched off at half time like the last match I watched Will also have no buffering when watching the match thanks to the 2 wonderful Elite aau1 and the zippy :A

After I am going to have a lovely hot bath and use my new lovely smelling lush soap and shampoo my DS bought me :A

Also some lovely hotel choc chocs nom nom and he did say I was getting an Amazon voucher but he ran out of money lol so I will get that when he gets paid :A Says for kindle books but he knows me could be spent on anything :money:

Good morning tweets, I'm getting an Amazon voucher too :j from ds4. He bought me chocs and a lovely camomile bath/shower set, he said he couldn't find the Amazon vouchers so has given me the money to get one

He said for kindle books too but knows me so well, I don't buy books all mine have been free so far :cool: :rotfl::rotfl::rotfl:

DH is in the kitchen prepping veg for the 8 of us today, bless him, he'll be in the kitchen for hours as he is chief cook and bottle washer.

Windy here but no rain :j I'm taking sis in law to her other brother this morning. We had a night and a half with her last night :eek: but that's another story :mad:
