We have been out for a lovely meal with the family, im stuffed now.
A huge relief.
OH got a frozen turkey today, but its massive and I dont think its going to defrost in time, so think will be making a trip to asda tomorrow to see if they have reduced any.
So pleased for you, you must feel like you are several stones lighter, and you really can enjoy Christmas now
Defrosting the turkey - put it in the bath with the cold water tap running over it (cold, not hot) it may take a couple of hours so probably not practical if you are on a water meter, but it will defrost it.
Well, today I will prepare all the veg, make the pigs in blankets, and I have a panettone to make from scratch, going to use the breadmaker this time and have a good recipe which *might* get varied a littleWhat is this life if, full of care, we have no time to stand and stare0 -

Morning all. Clarins stuff I use is there, so shed loads of points if it works and products I use anyway if it doesn't.
Bin men have been this morning. In the old days, over the Christmas period we either missed a collection completely or had one on a funny day. Now the council has contracted the job out to Veolia we have the next few collections all over the place and the next "normal" one isn't until 21 January:eek: Can only assume the scheduler sat down and decided to see how many different days he could give us.
Morning all0
