    It works both ways, though.

I always josh along with my local garage boys and get a cheap MOT & service.

I always send them a couple of bottles of wine as well for good service.

This was a Quik Fit though.

I do use the local garage now thankfully not often and I trust them more. I still keep myself educated.

In fact the last time it went in they rang me to come down and fix a problem as I have little hands lol
I have dyslexia, so get used to my spelling and grammar :)

Im in Somerset and we are a small independent garage.

Many moons ago I went out with someone whose father owned a small independent garage in Somerset. While at uni, so never actually visited Somerset.

Then £38-odd is fair, not London prices.

What does BMW London charge per hour? - I wonder

Tried to look it up, but OH threw away old service stuff when he changed cars. I know an air conditioning recharge is £99.

I have booked for shut down already

Free Sunday Nights stays at Travel Lodge between 1st January & 6th February
    http://www.hotukdeals.com/deals/free-sunday-nights-stays-travel-lodge-between-1st-january-6th-february-2348277

Would say 'they saw you coming' but I guess that is true, you probably got a good deal by booking far in advance.

Another hotel deal worth doing today only is hotels.com. Double up on rewards for stays booked today. This is the easiest loyalty programme to understand. Every night booked with hotels.com gives you one reward, collect 10 rewards and you get 1 nights free stay. Excellent way to build up rewards when you stay at different brands of hotel. For today only each night booked counts as 2, so a free stay for 5 booked nights. Your free stay can be anywhere - no requirement to add it to an existing stay.
