Thanks, I've been around a bit but want to get my head around how things compare rather than making a fool of myself.

It's what most of us do.:rotfl::rotfl::rotfl::rotfl:

I've been told to make a victory speech and I've advised us all to get out more on the rest of the forum, including the Arms. Hope I don't seem to be nagging, Anyhoo, thanks again!
Lovely speech zagubov. So nice that you remembered princess melody in it.

They are quite sickly once you get past "a few." 3 is probably a sensible portion.

Sainsbury's Fruit Pastilles,Liquorice Allsorts , Wine Gums and Jelly Babies 460g Half Price £1.00 @ Sainsburys

These look like they are in a box - if so very useful to have a few random boxes wrapped and ready - useful if you have a regular postie or van delivery man or other odd people you can give thank you presents to

I've just been reading the reviews on this strewth, what a great toy it is :). Moves very quickly it seems so keep your feet out if the way :). I'm sure he'll love it though, and a great price

Running mums feet over will be half the fun  Dh was quick to agree to buying it so I think he will be having a go and "Showing" ds2 how to use it :p

I am sure he will love that:T:T things kids have now, we had a board game, or our expensive gift with one of them tape recorders with piano like keys:rotfl::rotfl:
Enjoy having oh with you and enjoy Christmas x

:rotfl: You reminded me of my mum then, "we only got a tangerine and a lump of coal" :rotfl::rotfl: Or another one "a doll, a drum and a kick up the bum" :D

I know what you mean though, we spend around £100 each on the kids and that includes stocking fillers. Friends of ours spend more like £300 each child  Might spend a bit more for their birthdays as money not normally quite so tight as at xmas. I think we'll have a good one this year, we're eating out xmas day ;) a first for us but was getting too stressful in our small house with our 2, mum in law and dd1, her partner and thier 2 under 2's  Costing £100 for 4 of us so am struggling to accept it but we've paid the deposit and I am looking forward to not spending the day rushed off my feet :)

Popped out of lurkdom to :T:T:T

Not read back loads so not sure if I've missed a lot, hope everyone is keeping well, hugs to those in need.

We went to Alton Towers for a Santas Sleepover last week :D It was so nice, and it was a HUKD deal so IMO a bargain. Kids had a ball, sonic spinball almost saw me off :rotfl: Still did it twice as the kids loved to hear me squeal :o

DD2 and DS2 keeping me on my toes, had ds2 at the paediatrician again over his weak legs last week, he can't walk very far so they are doing more tests :( She had him stand from a sitting position without holding anything and he struggles so goes onto his hands and walks them up his legs for support, he's done this for a long time and the physio says he has weak hips, quads and something else. He struggles with stairs and running too. The doc didn't tell me what they are testing him for but google has scared the life out of me, the way ds2 gets up is called the gowers manoeuvre and a lot of his symptoms point towards muscular dystrophy  they are testing to rule it out which I hope is the case but my brain is going into overdrive :( Tests are likely to be early January so got to stop being a doom maker as my oh put it :o

The Santa sleepover at Alton Towers sounds fab!

Sorry that google is making you panic about things your DS2 does and possible diagnosis. I'm a great one for googling, but its not always the sensible thing to do and sometimes I've completely freaked myself out. :o Anyway, the Elite are great at support, so anything you need just come on here.

Thanks LS, I am a terrible googler. In a way I would rather expect the worse then be told otherwise but on the other hand I am probably panicking for nothing. I suppose that is why the doc never mentioned what specifics the tests were ruling out.

Hope you are on the mend after your health issues x
