Well I was going to go to Liverpool today to soak in the atmosphere for Christmas but I'm glad I didn t go now as it's been raining and dull all day. Then I read that it's the worst day for folk to buy their presents .

So I thought full trains, loadsof people everywhere and I didn t really need to go so I just went to my local town and I was glad to get back home .

We were in Leeds today and I couldn't believe how quiet it was ........that is until we got into Harvey Nics and it was like the biggest party ever was going on. Crowds and crowds of people buzzing around.......had a lovely stroll through the unbelievably pretty Victorian Quarter and listened to the brass band.....fabulous atmosphere:)

Mhoc....surely both 50p coupons will have the same postcode so I guess you can only use one.

I haven't used any party ones yet but need to get a wiggle on while I have conditional spends:D

Does anyone know m&s' policy on overcharges?
I bought some whoopsied beansprouts, reduced from 60p to 20p and got charged the full price.
Won't bother complaining for the 40p, but will if they have a policy like Asda.
    Thanks in advance

I think they will just give you the difference Ruth

  • Finally convinced OH that we should get a new kettle after a year of leaking from the spout and 6 months of leaking from the bottom of the viewing pane. It was a proper pain, you had to remember to empty the kettle or it would leak all over the worktop (which he never did)

Any I started looking at hot water dispensers instead. :)

Is this one any good? http://www.amazon.co.uk/Morphy-Richards-43926-Accents-Dispenser/dp/B004MKML9C/ref=pd_cp_201_3?ie=UTF8&refRID=1VBVK9Q8NERJPY1HKRPQ

Looks expensive for what it is - water heater that boils one cup at a time.
