Not as big as my posts so I wouldn't worry:rotfl:.

When they moved to TBG and stopped comparing own label. Thus people may pay more on own brands in T now. Will pay more if it's milk that is £1 and is still 89p elsewhere (and if they don't have a coupon specific to T that is for more than 10p off).

Do not buy own label milk in T! Unless there really is no alternative 89p competitor place available to you:(.

Thank you, I haven't done a TBG or APG for months :o T is my nearest shop, but at least got 25p back from Sz. A is about 30 mile round trip and traffic is awful to get into the retail park so try to avoid unless I'm going that way for another reason
Life is a coin, you can spend it anyway you wish, but you can only spend it once.
Go as far as you can see, and when you get there you'll see further.

    Still no (BA) airport nearby?

You do know there are grammar schools in Kent and parts of North London?

And I grew up & was educated in Bucks @ AGS so yes, I do know about that.

But I like it down here.

Far better though that won't endear me to the rest of you lol

Whenever we have to fly out of Heathrow, I get a bit worried these days lol

Not by the migrants - good luck to them - but by the driving :)

We'm got it eeeasier down 'ere lol

Most of the increases on SP items have now been reversed - but makes not much difference to us (except, indeed, may now thwart us from spending previous vouchers more easily:mad:) as just going back to pricematching the prices of elsewhere so still need to use the APG as before.

    Evening all

Woke up this morning with no internet.Fiddled about with it for a bit but gave up because I had to go to the dentist.

Got back from dentist and had another fiddle with internet. It was going on and off so went for a womble.
I had already told myself not to pick up scruffy or wet ones.So what did I do.I picked up a wet one dated the 6th.Only £14.78:rotfl:

Picked up a couple more for about another £5.Nothing worth reporting though.

Internet was still playing up so rang a nice foreign lady.We spent about an hour on the phone.Eventually she said it was my adapter on the router and suggested I spoke to an engineer.:o

I've had another fiddle and unplugged the adapter from the router and plugged it in again and it seems to be ok for now.

Picked up my car from the garage .Bank balance £253 lighter.

Not quite up to savvy's and ILGD'S long posts but getting there.:rotfl:

    £253 for what?

I thought it was just an hour's work dismantling & some soldering & some reassembling.

Might be perfectly OK but what did they do?

And where are you based? - as hourly rates vary enormously, ie London is most expensive

    Definitely not his dad .

If I had to say anyone would say his granddad my dad :)

It was primary school who pushed me to get DS to take the entrance exam which I did.
