It wasn't on my plate when I ate it. It just appeared on the photograph.:o

It's like those Victorian photographs of fairies at the bottom of the garden that baffled experts for decades......it's just like that except it's a slug:o

................. and you ate it

The Philly is a cracking deal.

Do we know if both the original and the light work?

My 2,000 points reward for taking part in the Nectar Double Up went on today as well, so did 1000 Pizza Express points (from a code that the Nectar site said expired a couple weeks ago but the email said it was valid until the 20th)

The Argos offer coming back on today was the cherry on top, especially since I was walking past one when I checked the app :money:

so my OH is in the dog house.
I did ask him yesterday if there was any chance of him finishing in good time today as I had a mass of shopping to do (actually about 15 different shops on my To Do) list
My theory being that if I did manage to get him away from work then we could also have a nice lunch out first, a few places locally on the Amex local shop list. and then tackle the shopping
so off he went at 7 as usual and then strolled into the house at 3 - completely baffled as to why I am so mad at him

so when I finished chewing his ear off - the roads around here are desperate around school time and it was far too late for lunch - we did eventually set off for town. By the time we got out of Aldi and into town it was 4.15 and dark, hate going out in the dark.

needless to say a huge long queue in the post office but I managed to get to Superdrug and Home Bargains so 4 things off the list so at least its a start - I really wanted to do the entire list in one long sweep.

I asked him about the garage on the way home and he said he had forgotten it was supposed to be today for taking sons car in for a tyre change, garage had rung him to remind him but it was too late

I have no idea why I am disappointed or even surprised by this as its par for the course - yes there is always the weekend but then its not our anniversary at the weekend, its today
yes I could take myself out for lunch but then that's not exactly much fun
and yes I could have tackled most of the shopping myself today if I was still driving and yes that's my own fault that I am not

at least I got the wrapping done and the Amazon parcel came

    Oh dear. :o
    Happy Anniversary anyway.
I know you've mentioned the not driving before, but I can't remember the reason why you stopped?

evening all hope everyone is well,

after work i went christmas shopping but may never go again someone bumped our car no damage but blamed oh even though he reversed out of parking space into us, but we should have stopped when we saw his lights, 2 fellas then tried to rob some phones from a shop i was in so got stuck there while waiting for police, , then someone bumped into me and i dropped a frozen turkey on my foot, it blinkin hurt, so i gave up and came home:o:p

Another one having a rubbish day (although the turkey on the foot made me laugh, sorry! :p)

Corr what a day..........im going to have a mhoc rant:rotfl:
We have to pay our ground rent yearly, if we pay by 23rd Dec we get a £50 discount.
I pick hubby up from work at 2, we go to BS to withdraw the cash, go into the office to pay, She taps the counter sorry we dont take cash! !!!!!!?!!
I say i have always paid cash, well we are not taking it have had forged notes:eek: I said well thanks for letting everyone know
I said how am i supposed to pay then?
Bankers draft, cheque or debit card, i said well this was from ISA cant get cheque from there:o
Well go to the bank and pay it in, i said i have difficulty getting to the bank with work, she says go now, i said yea and fight all the traffic:mad:
Anyway i did go , pay to park, put money in , come back pay them, finally get home gone 4:eek:
    I was so annoyed:mad:

I think everyone is trying to be like mhoc today! Seriously, thats rubbish though. If they're going to make a big decision like that they need to tell people.

Where did you have to go that you had to pay for parking?

I went out for lunch again today (am doing well this week!). Chinese buffet place. Ok, but not great for vegetarians apart from the "beige" food (chips, wedges etc). Still managed to eat a lot though. :)

Dressing change with the nurse, booked in on Christmas Eve for another one.

Couldn't quote any more, but think it was lesleyjack who also has an anniversary, so happy anniversary. Everything else I've forgotten already thanks to the brain fog! :(
