 OH has put windows 10 on my laptop and now the mse pages keep jumping about. Anyone else had this problem. I'm on something called Microsoft edge lol. Havent been able to get chrome to load yet so don't know if it happens on there.
Really annoying. I was ok with windows 7
gocat, been there done that
find a way to download Classic Shell (free) and all your problems will be solved in 5 mins, you go back to a Windows 7 look inside W10 - which is a very safe, very fast system, so good0 -
Oh and I'm doing the cake voucher thing to get 16% off at next (I will use the points mainly for double up). Which is still goo considering the sales are coming up. Reminds me need to buy £200 worth before boxing day to give to mrs.0

We are just comparing the following scenario,
Buy £100 of Argos vouchers from tesco - pay £100 on your Amex card (could also get points back from the spend, but lets leave that out.
So it cost you £100 right? But you get 800 points back (5 cake vouchers and the usual spend £50 on GC get 150 points x2)
So the £100 vouchers cost you £100, but you earn 800 points which at 2x value is £16 at tesco or 3x value is £24.
Assuming the higher you could say it cost you £74 at tesco (£100 - £24)
Then he wants to go to argos and buy toys, assuming that spending £100 at argos during 3 for 2 will get you £150 worth of items.
Therefore.... Your £74 cost gets you £150 of argos value. Its a bit warped if you ask me because it assumes the 3 for 2 in argos is good value.
Warped if you don't apply a bit of nous in what you buy.
It's basically how I got my Lego 41101s for under £50 each the other month.0 -
