We had 3 seperate shops and the crisps got mixed up... The kids had a trolley each leaving me to pack and pay whilst they put items on the conveyor belt!!
Children and supermarkets are never a good idea:(. They slow you down, they pick up unnecessary items - they want you to buy them much more (that doesn't go against your target shop but subtracts from any deduction) - they are not a good idea, although it's not always possible to leave them behind. Fancy allowing them a trolley each:eek: - and therefore threatening to have you spending three times more and filling each trolley up!
I don't generally like crowds or children that clutter up the supermarket floor and simply make it more difficult for me to get around the store. That's all they do - it's not the crowds as such but the fact it makes it difficult to get around the store. I much prefer the clear aisles much later in the day. The ones I particularly dislike though are adults, who always stop in the middle of the aisles and start having chats that last for ages!:( "Get outta the way:mad:!" I think. Of course they appear oblivious that I am even there - that's how most people seem to be when they do that! (I suspect this is from the POV of an autistic person.)
However, one good thing may be that the children might cause people to pick up some very expensive items and then the receipt might be left around to become a womble:D:rotfl:.0 -

That's the trouble with trolleys - and was the point I was suggesting - you have to watch the size of the trolleys as, the bigger they make them, the more it encourages people to fill them right up and therefore spend too much! For us anyway - maybe it's a benefit for some wombles!0 -
