Hi, apologies if this is in the wrong place 😳
My mum has been on Orange pay as you go for as long as she's had a mobile. I've brought her a cheap smartphone now to bring her up to date. this new phone requires a micro sim whereas previously she has just used a standard sized sim. Now my mum has been on the dolphin plan from orange and she wants to keep this deal, apparently when she told up £10 she get X amount of free texts, and this lasts her for usually over 2 months. She's not keen on any pay monthly deals and wants to continue her dolphin plan on her new phone. Having spoken at the ee shop and customer services it seems she can't get it.
Is she not being mistreated or is this fair do's? In all fairness she wants to keep the number, the deal she's always had but needs a different sized sim. Any advice would be great. Any super cheap PAYG deals going let me know. Thanks in advance.

EE wants to phase out the Orange and T-Mobile brands so every time anyone wants to make a change, they use that opportunity to move you to EE, and, in many cases, extra expense.0

Convert your standard sim card (15 x 25mm) to a micro sim card (12 x 15mm) with this special micro sim cutter £1.820

I don't think they've phased that tariff out just yet, in fact the data allowance went up quite a bit. How about ordering a new SIM online?
