I have this query that I hope people can give Me some help on,
I purchased 2 Disney Infinity 3.0 Star Wars figures from Game.co.uk on the 2 for £18 offer.
When I placed the order both figures were in stock, after a week of waiting I checked My order online only to find it “unshipped”, and that one of the figures was now out of stock.
So I emailed Them to see if I could Swap the out of stock item for an in stock one, or if not then to cancel My order. The reply I got was.
“Thank you for your email.
Unfortunately we are unable to amend orders, also as the order has been processed we are unable to cancel.
As long as this remains unopened you can return this to your local Game store for a refund or an exchange. If you would like to return this to us by post you can do so by returning it to the following address;”
Surely orders can only be “processed” if items are in stock? And if the order has not been shipped then why can it not be cancelled?.
So I have this order that is“unshipped” and that Game have kindly taken the money for, but no goods to show for it.
I stopped using them before due to poor service, and it looks like I will not be using them in the future.

Processed probably means the order went through the books, has been passed on to shipping department and is now waiting for the new stock to arrive. Just wait for the figures and return them if you're unhappy.0

Game has a weird system, I've been banging my head against it this week too. I ordered the Guildwars 2 expansion last weekend, got an email on Monday morning saying it had been shipped to my store of choice (Click and collect). I happened to pass the store on Tuesday, so went in and asked, told me it would most likely be in Wednesday. I went back near close of business today, still no game.
Best thing is, the store has 2 copies on the shelf, but they can't give one of them to me as they can't touch the click and collect orders in store till they have arrived and the customer picks them up, which seems like a joke to me. Surely it can't be that hard to give me one of the copies they have and replace it with the one I have ordered when it arrives. Cancelling the order also isn't possible till the store receives it and you pick it up.
Anyway, seems many online retailers can deliver games to my doorstep next day, yet Game is unable to deliver something to one of their own shops after 5 days. Won't be buying anything from them again anytime soon.0 -
What happened with this in the end? I wouldn't like something similar happening if I select Game for an order0
