New Car Replacement after Write Off

My car is 8 months old and just been declared write off/complete loss. Insurance is with zurich who provide new car replacement if car is under 12 months old, so I have said I am interested in this, has anyone had any experience of this.
The car is on pcp but Zurich have said that aslong as finance company agree then they will source a new car like for like and replace, is this correct? and am I likely to have any problems with the finance company agreeing to this, other option is accept their offer which is considerletly less than the outstanding finance (not taken gap insurance unfortunately)
Just looking for anyone who has had similar and can advise
Thanks

Yes it's correct and no you won't have problems with the finance company.
Why would you even consider a cash settlement when you are entitled to a new car.

Thanks, think I'm just worrying as you hear so many horror stories re insurance companies.
What happens with the finance then? Does it just continue as normal?0
