Problems with claim going through with car insurance

Hi
I am having a nightmare with my insurance :(
a lorry cut me up on an island and come into my lane and hit my car. My partner was driving who is insured on my car. As part of the process they spoke to my partner who went theough his points on his license and then put him through to dvla to confirm his details could be shared with the insurance and they accepted. it has been a month since i have heard off them. now ive finally got through to them
and nkw they are saying that i didnt declare his points when i know i did. why am i going to pay a grand more for him to be insured and not declare his points? its cheaper for ne on my own but i need him on there which is why i pay more.
Any suggestions would be much appreciated? ;( due to my insurance only giving me access to my insirance online theyve locked my aco!!!! so i currently have no leg to stand on at the moment!!

I'd check your policy schedule that you're sent when you take out the policy. That will show whether they have it noted or not. Don't forget it's still your responsibility to check those documents to confirm all details are correct.

Also how did you take out the policy? If via comparison site, sometimes they don't pull over all the information when going to the insurers website through a comparison site.

If the lorry driver is to blame then cancel your claim and claim off the lorry insurance.

They won't be interested in your problem over non disclosure as it's nothing to do with them
