New Children's Regular Saver Account
I’m delighted to let you know that we have launched a new Children’s Regular Saver Account for young savers aged 15 and under.
This brand new account has a 12 month fixed term period and you can open one with an amount between £5 and £100. The account has a competitive interest rate of 4% gross p.a./AER* with immediate access to funds without penalty. Interest is calculated daily and paid on maturity.
Every month during the 12 month period customers can come into the local branch as many times as needed, and deposit pocket money or birthday money into the account, up to the value of £100. This will help encourage a good savings habit.
Our new Children’s Regular Saver Account have two savings mascots, Jenny and Rory who will help teach how to save with the use of savings tools and tips on our website. You can find out about Jenny and Rory’s saving story on our website with pictures to print and colour in.
We want to make savings fun and second nature from an early age. We hope Jenny and Rory, along with Miss Moneyspots, can help give an understanding of how to save and the benefits of saving.
