Best Saving account for kids

Hi this may have been discussed before but I wanted to open an account for my 7 years old daughter so that she can start saving money and only to be used once she reaches 18. So the initial plan is to get money in from time to time and nothing out until she is 18. Any suggestions on what is the best choice?
Thanks

Does she have a CTF? (Can now be transferred to the more flexible JISA).
This would seem ideal for your purposes?
The best rate available is from Halifax if you or your spouse have an ISA account with them.
