Sky News are reporting that Geneva has raised the Terror threat for the city amid claims they are looking for suspects after receiving information.

Not really. There's been two arrests in Geneva and a car found with traces of explosives in it. This is serious information they're acting upon, but the Swiss are loathe to be seen as reacting in the way Belgium did.Ha good old Sky ..would have had all sat at home viewing the news and fearing everything if they had their way.
Having said that, my train home from Zurich city centre last night had security guards and police in every carriage checking under the seats.0 -

Only a quarter of the population (and falling) have guns, and most of those wouldn't have any ammunition to go with it. Nor do they carry them around with them.
I don't think the Swiss civilian population are much more of a threat to terrorists than any other country!0
