Pothole advice
Ive read the article on the site about how to report a pothole etc, But just looking for additional advice.
The incident happened last night where I was driving in the dark and went through a puddle and unknown to me there was a large hole underneath. Completly blew out the tyre.
took some photographs of the hole and the tyre and went back to the street this morning when it was brighter to take photos of the pothole but it is completley covered in water at the moment so its impossible to see, I waited around for a bit and afew buses went though it and i took a photo of that but isnt great.
Its dry today so was going to go back later this afternoon to see if I can get better photographs.
I have also reported the pothole through the councils website.
I have ordered a new tyre for tomorrow and also have a receipt from when I got my tyres changed just 5 months ago.
Basically, all im asking is there any more evidence I will need to gather? and if I cant get a great photo of the pothole will this still make a worthy claim ?

A claim all depends on whether the council was negligent.
If they didn't know abou the pothole and the road was inspected regularly then they will not be liable0 -
I did notice ( and have included in my photos) there are 2 roadwork signs on the pavement next to that area. could that be something i can include on my claim as this could highlight that they know about this issue?0

I do wish they would fix the potholes on the M60 ring road, its littered with them (particularly between Ashton and Stockport). Hitting one at 70mph could prove fatal. Its not the kind of place you can pull over to take photos of yet reporting them from as far back as the beginning of LAST Year has so far come to nothing.:A:dance:1+1+1=1:dance::A
