Morning guys  happy Thursday :D Thanks to La E for the kick off and glad you had a good time last night :A

Bob your sig is looking so good!

CCL glad you're starting to feel a bit better x

So been up and done a ms assignment already :) just need to submit the report

Also called the Inland Rev and sorted out out my tax code. I now won't be paying tax on my bar work - thank goodness as I only earn about £70pw! and will get the last 2 weeks tax back :DDone

Have folded up the washing I put on the line yesterday ready to iron in a bit. Definitely worth while putting it on the line as I only had to put it on the dryer overnight for it to be done. Another load in. Will check weather forecast and if it's not going to rain will put it out ;)Partially done the ironing - have to do it in 2 batches as could face anymore! Also put another load in which I'll hang on the dryer before leaving for work

    Other things to do today:

    * all meals from stores
    * dinner will be lo pork in gravy, jacket pots & veg
    * make a soup and put in last night's lo veg
    * lunch from freezer - really starting to make headway with clearing it out
    * go for a walk with dgd and pick some holly for decorating the house
    *[STRIKE] paint skirting boards[/STRIKE]
    * post student loans company letter now I have all the details I need

Ok that's my lot. Just keeping it simple with the things I really need to do. Have a good day y'all! x

    Hi Everyone! :)

Checked all my bank balances and reconciled budget.

Should be a NSD today. Having spaghetti and meatballs for dinner. We cooked a huge pot of it last night, so it's ready for the next two days.

Just under three weeks until next payday, have to make all my money last. Going well so far this month.
Although it seems an odd month, because it is almost five whole weeks between pay dates in December.
The budget is really helping me as I now no longer think about the balance in my account, but instead remember the balances in each category. A totally different mindset and appreciation of money.

Thanks to everyone for wishing me happy birthday :) spent the evening sewing in blanky ends and had a tipple of rum.

    Today's list:
    • B/D from stores. Bought lunch as missing several crucial things in the house
    • Check online banking and reconcile spreadsheet. Move some money around to new savings account
    • Nipped to supermarket first thing with OH for some essentials. Cheese, eggs, yogurt, loo roll etc - done
    • Forgot phone today but OH going to drop it off later - charge in work - done
    • Crossfit - I think I might be dying. My entire body has gone into the future
    • OH out tonight so more blanky sewing!
    • Maybe wrap some pressies/write some cards. This month going very quickly!!
    • Try to remember to put some bread on. There's been none for weeks. OH keeps complaining about it. Told him that he knows where the BM is as well as I do ;)
Will have to add more later. My brain not quite there today!

    Have a good one all

    Get in!

Just checked my EE bill. I over budgeted by £9.15 to take into account a higher bill last month. This bill will be £25.24. Put the £9.15 into my groceries budget. Glad to be shot of this EE contract.

Oh and a packed lunch today as well! :)

  • Well, I haven't gone out. A thumping head all day has not help lift my mood unfortunately. I wasn't prepared to share my mood :o I also haven't done too much off my list. DH did post my letters for me, but didn't get stamps I asked for so will need to go back tomorrow, would have been easier to go myself.

Will now have a ridiculously busy today tomorrow trying to cram some jobs in round work meetings :( either that or go shopping tomorrow night not a fan of either. Would ideally like to curl up in a small ball and wake up on about January 5th hoping some sleep will put a better perspective on it.

Hope everyone having a good evening.
  • Decided to make some use of my evening. First, I had. A big bowl of semolina and a glass of red for tea. It was good for the soul even if not that balanced :rotfl: I have also placed an order for customer, done my tax return but not submitted it as I need to check one figure and also my self employment element doesn't seem to be appearing in the calculation despite entering details. First time I've added SE element, so need to make sure I'm doing it right :) it's a good start though.

I also updated my MR S vouchers in case I do go shopping tomorrow. I feel much better than I did 3 hours ago :D
