Short term van insurance 1-2 weeks.

My van insurance runs out this Friday.

It's for private not commercial use.

I need to use it for an additional week or two before I may put it up for a year, since I will not be needing it.

Is there any way I can extend my current insurance to cover an additional 2 weeks?

Anyone have any idea what the best way around this would be?

You need to phone around and check prices, It maybe cheaper to take a years policy and cancel it when your done.

So many prices to compare though, full premium - admin charges and charge for time on cover. So a more expensive policy may actually be cheaper if their admin charges are less.

After trying lots of companies fir a full years premium then compare to short term policies.
