Just back but where to go next year DIY?

We have just returned from holiday from Cesme Turkey, it was our fourth year there and even thou we really enjoyed it I want to go somewhere different next year.
I'm interested in booking a cheap flight from one of the low cost airlines and booking accom separately. I just want to know where people would recommend to go.
We have two teenagers to feed so somewhere where the prices aren't too bad is the first requirement
Secondly we have to be s/c accom
Finally not to "Touristy" as the place we have holidayed in all this time doesn't have many holidaymakers so we aren't the Foam Party type (boring I know!) We like to live like the locals!
Any ideas where to go?

have a look at www.skyscanner.net for flight possibilities but you may need to wait a month or so before all next smmer's flight are available0
