My DLA is changing to PIP.

I have received the dreaded letter today asking me to change from DLA to PIP.
I have a variety of health issues, sinus tachycardia, low thyroid, polysystic ovary syndrome, and a recent diagnosis of CFS and Fibromyalgia.
My mental health condition is that I was diagnosed back in 2008 with paranoid personality disorder.
I also had low bouts of being low in folic acid and vit d, which I understand is fibro related.
I'm very nervous and worried I am going to loose everything, as I understand it Maximus have bought out ATOS to do the assessments.
The last assessment I had back in 2012 by a lady nurse and she was lovely, awarding me support group for ESA.
I don't really know what to expect regarding a new assessment, I've got someone to help me fill the forms in.
I've had a rough several years for personal reasons, and a death in the family recently, I am dreading going to a new test!!

ATOS and CAPITA do PIP assessments not maximus yet.
Just had my second ATOS PIP assessment. Although unlike you I wasn't a transfer from DLA.
Good luck with it.Master Apothecary Faranell replied, “I assure you, overseer, the Royal Apothecary Society dearly wishes to make up for the tragic misguidance which ended so many lives. We will cause you no trouble. We seek only to continue our research in peace".0 -

Thank you. How did yours go?
My first one went okay and the lady nurse I had was lovely.
The only test she did on me was to check my pulse and blood prsesure, because of my heart problem and the stress of the day, it went through the roof, which is why she put me into support group straightaway.0 -
The pip assessment I had yesterday went ok. The proof is in the results though.
I'm on income support not ESA as I simply couldn't face a constant round of assessments but sounds like your ESA went ok.
Pip is very different from DLA though so just do a bit of reading before you fill in the forms.Master Apothecary Faranell replied, “I assure you, overseer, the Royal Apothecary Society dearly wishes to make up for the tragic misguidance which ended so many lives. only those that meet the current criteria ( lone parent with a child under 5, carers and a few other uncommon circumstances)
omce iniversal credit rolls out, it will replace both income support and ESA and you will have no option but to be reassessed at regular intervals0 -
you will be changed to ESA at some point as it isn't a choice.

So this universal credit, will it replace support group esa?
I currently get contributions based support group esa, I worry because I live with a working partner and am concerned I wont be entitled to nothing, and he doesntt earn enough to support me either.0 -
it replaces all income relayed benefit ( JSA< IS< ESA > working and child tax credit and housing benefit?LHA)
your only issue would be if you fail to get into the support group when you are reassessed, as your claim will then be limited to 356 days before changing to income related0 -

My hubby works, so I wont be entitled to anything income related.0
