Just google for "24V power supply" and make sure the power is at at least 4.8VA (=4.8W, or the current is at least 0.2A=200mA).

However, the plugs can differ and may need replacing.

    E.g.

for £8.64 - the first one I found.
I guess you can buy new lights for this price. I paid £14 for 240 multicoloured LEDs with timer and 8 regimes.

The OH must have broke this one yet still plugged it in when the case was cracked to pieces. We're lucky the whole wasn't lit up
    ....in flames. :D

Not so sure about that. I've had one of those adapters go 'pop' and it blew open the case in much the same way as the OP's.

Gaffer tape. Plug it in next to the charger for your hover board.

Doesn't look completely ruined to me. If the insides aren't damaged, I'd used a soldering iron to 'weld' the casing, but I do like DIY. A replacement with a socket will be hard to find.

If you still go for a replacement without a socket you'll need some adaptor with 2 female sockets, possibly DIY, but beware that there are several different sizes of such connectors looking similar.
  • Might it not be safer to buy some new lights?

Battery operated LED ones last for ages.
