New ‘selling technique’ on ebay!!

I am refraining from calling this a scam as I don’t think the sellers are breaking any listing policies. They are basically selling ebooks, usually wholesale lists, but also listing job lots of expensive desirable items. I think this is to give credence to their ebooks as every auction has a link to their ebook listing. Usually these ebooks are sold for under 99p just to build up feedback etc. but these sellers are charging up to £12 for them. With a few hours to go they are ending their listings of the desirable goods thereby only having to pay the listing fee. I have found a couple of sellers who have done this twice within 30 days but most must rotate user ID’s every 30 days so that the buyers of the ebooks don’t suss out what is going on. If you want to find some of these seller just search for PS3, Wii, Nokia N95 or PSP highest prices first. They usually list about 10 items for 10 days. I have tried reporting one of these sellers under the Non Performing Seller policy but the listing wasn’t pulled. Here is a link to one such listing.

The stupidity and greed of ebay buyers. Nice con though.
"You do not have to be a business to order from these companies!"
Strange that, as I always have to have a VAT number when I deal with distributors.

I think this should be posted on the ebay community boards - there's a faint chance there that it will catch the eye of an ebay rep - or one of the regulars may email one direct. My TV is broken!

Edit: refunded £515 for TV 1.5 years out of warranty - thank you Sale of Goods Act! :j0 -
A fool and his money .... he does clearly SAY you are bidding on an envelope.
Maybe there should be an intelligence test before people are allowed to buy things, or be let out on their own.
