McAfee Warning when computer turned on

I received the following warnings today when I turned the computer on.
Does anyone know why this happens when there was no problem yesterday?

"McAfee could not access Shared Memory file" and

"Fatal Error. The McAfee personal Firewall Security filter could not be loaded.This means that your computer is NOTcurrently protected."

I have looked at the program and it still appears to be working normally.

Looks like you have to uninstall and Re install again . I would never have McAfee on my computer as i find it "hogs "it .

Thank you. It came with AOL 9.0 VR and I always thought it was highly regarded. Today. everything seems to be normal. There was a McAfee box asking me if want to allow AVAST to email spam programme.

I would let McAfee allow Avast to scan email spam program,it sounds safe. You could always ditch McAfee and get Comodo firewall or Zone Alarm they are excellent and wont slow down your computer .
But if your happy with McAfee keep it on your computer .
