M&S Current Account

Hello,

Since M&S is part of HSBC....;)

Just wondering if anyone else who already has a First Direct 1st Current Account and a regular saver has successfully applied for an M&S current account & regular saver?

Thanks

Right well M&S rejected my application! !!!!!!?! I'm still waiting for the written confirmation but I'm sure that's gonna tell me nothing other than I didn't meet their criteria....which is what for a current account?!
I've already checked my credit file there's nothing untoward on there, I've a mortgage and credit cards but all are on 0% rate & paid on time every month! There's no Amber/red warnings! Grrr

That's a shame. I was hoping you were going to say how you'd got on with applying for the monthly saver, as I'm in the same process of applying.

Maybe you could apply for one of the 5% accounts instead.

I am only guessing but they may have concluded that you already have too much available credit for their taste.
