Switching bank accounts

Hi
I've been considering switching bank accounts to cash in on the offers but am not too sure as I've never switched before. I currently have 2 current accounts, an everyday saver and a cash ISA all with barclays.
One of the current accounts, let's call it 'account 1' I do not use and haven't for some time because of old pay day loans.
My other current account, 'account 2' is where my salary is paid into and I want to keep it this way.
Would it be possible for me to switch my 'account 1' and keep the others?
I realise that there are certain conditions ie paying in a certain amount each month (could I get around that by transferring money in myself?)
And at least 2 direct debits.. (think I read that I could set up small direct debits for charitable donations? If so do these need to be set up first in the account that I'll be switching from? Or can I set them up once I have the new account?)
The only other concern I had about switching was the effect it could have on my credit score, I am trying to rebuild my credit at the moment and having a long history with my bank is one of my only positive factors I have in my favour.
Sorry for all the questions and thank you to anyone who takes the time to answer.
