Car crash - third party insurer is rubbish and I have no rights to complain

My understanding of this sort of situation is, if the third party insurer captured you, i.e agreed to deal with your claim, then your an eligible complainant. If you decided to pay the claim yourself then tried to claim back the costs, then your not an eligible complainant.

Exactly, Wasn't too hard to understand.
You have very little chance of Quentin doing that, he works on the basis if you have something to add to the discussion that it should be on the public forum.
The Ombudsman will only deal with non customers of the Insurer in very exceptional circumstances0
