There are 'soft' eligibility checkers on this site and many CC provider's websites.

If you always pay the balance in full, a 'prime' CC is no better than a 'subprime' one. The same if you want some cashback or rewards. Aqua Reward is one of the best cards around for cashback and spending abroad.

Find out what you what to use the card for? Cashback, rewards, airline miles, 0% spending? Then start compare the different cards to see their benefits/costs. Difficult to comment on how much harder is it to obtain one card from another. You just have to go for the one you think will suit your spending habits.

Do an eligibility check on this site and see what percentage it gives you for each card, and like the others say it depends what benefits you want from your card to which one you pick.
