I've just received a letter from Prudential stating that as I've paid 40 years premiums on time, they will make the final 12 payments on my behalf.
Is this a con?
There has to be a catch?

Is this a con?
No. Indeed, how would it be a con to have someone else pay your premium? There has to be a catch?
No.
its a very common occurrence with whole of life assurance plans. The two most common occurrences are when you reach a certain age and have not died then they will take over premiums from that point or where the premium is now (in todays terms) not worth them collecting and its cheaper to allow you to keep the benefit without paying for it.I am an Independent Financial Adviser (IFA).
