Ive been on new enterprise allowence for a few months, Im putting the time in but just not getting any customers.
How long can I carry on like this, or should I quit now and go back on JSA?
Somebody said they give you an entire year on WTC before you have to show a profit, is that correct?

For my WTC claim next year, I dont want them to just assume I was making NMW x 35hrs, the truth is Im putting the hours in but just not getting the work.0

According to a post you made on 3rd December, you're already on JSA :think:Ive not even been on JSA for 6 months yet, its getting close to that but my adviser is talking about putting me on a work placement already.
I hate the thought of working in the pound shop or something, how the hel will I be able to get a good job ever again after that?
Is there anything I can do, will I get sanctioned?
I would prefer self employment than that, but I have not been siging on 26weeks yet to be able to get new enterprise allowence.
Can I start the ball rolling for NEA so that I dont get sanctioned for doing work placment?
Maybe you should now really consider taking any work placement you can grab... because clearly, being inactive has had an effect on your memory.0 -
That was somebody else using this account.0

So Im thinking of quitting my Self Employment and going back on JSA.
But I have to prove that I did not make any profit while self employed, I hate TC assuming you earned this much and saying you have been overpaid.0 -
They don't assume anything. You tell them what you earn.
If you earn less than NMW then expect them to ask questions and ask for records.0 -
what kind of records?
I keep a day diary will this be OK?0 -

I doubt a diary would be the only records they would want. Anyone can write a diary. I could go make up one now and I'm not self employed.
Records would depend on your business. Gov gives advice on business records.
